PPE direct to the school door

Many thanks to Aaran and Paul for delivering essential personal protective equipment to our three partner schools in Mangochi: MCV, Bolera Palms and Thom's Colourful Classrooms.

Schools in Malawi officially reopened in February after a surge of cases forced the government to close them at the start of the year. However, without essential PPE, teachers and children are nervous of returning so WMP has been doing its bit to help make conditions safer.

With funds raised by friends of WMP this year, Aaron was able to buy locally-produced masks, sanitisers, soap, buckets and thermometers for each of the three schools. Paul and Aaron then set off on a 300 mile round-trip to deliver the equipment and show people how to use it effectively.
