Responding to Malawi's cholera epidemic

Malawi is experiencing its worst outbreak of cholera in twenty years, greatly adding to the challenges facing our partners every day. Schools have had to close their doors and the cost of medical equipment is escalating as demand for treatment rises.

We are responding by sending funds to Achikondi Clinic in Lilongwe and Kuche Kuche Clinic in Mangochi where the disease is especially virulent.
Achikondi Clinic has been quick to put the money to use as Charity Salima shows us in her video - buying essential medical equipment including rehydration salts and disinfectant.

We hope to get some money down to Mangochi as soon as possible to support Kuche Kuche's efforts and over Easter, friends of Sally and the Watson's Malawi Partnership are planning to visit in person, bringing with them any medical supplies that cannot be purchased locally.
