First plant sale shows green shoots!

This month, we held our first home-grown plant sale and so far, we've raised £435.

Enthusiastic amateurs have spent the last few months sowing, splitting, cutting and nurturing little plants to raise funds for our partners in Malawi.

And early signs look promising. From herbs to hostas, veronicas to vegetables, muffins and marmelades, bunting and banter, we had it all (or so it seemed on the day).

Thank you to everyone who contributed - especially to Veronica for her marmalade and Pauline for her car full of petunias, lobelia, busy lizzies and so very much more!

We hope to make this an annual affair, so if you think this is a good idea, start propagating now ready for a mega event in June next year!
